Held on April 18-19, this iconic event draws thousands to the small town of Maclean, also known as the “Scottish Town in Australia,” where the streets are decked with tartan and the air is filled with the sounds of bagpipes.
Starting Friday with solo piping, the gathering bursts into full swing on Saturday at the Maclean Showgrounds. Here, spectators will be treated to incredible Highland dancing competitions, pipe band parades, and thrilling traditional games like caber tossing and log wrestling. The event will also feature food stalls, Scottish goods, and the grand spectacle of the Street Parade, where bands march down River Street to the cheers of the crowd.
